Exploring Your Swedish Roots

The Swedish American Museum Genealogy Center is presenting a full day of programming. 
Reservations are required for this event.

The day features:
Talk at noon in the Main Gallery:
Genealogy 101 Help Desk by Suzanne Hoffman, President of the Illinois State Genealogical Society

Two guided tours:
11 a.m. or 2 p.m. tour of the newly designed permanent exhibit and the Children's Museum. No reservations necessary.

Learn about other Swedish groups and museums and research centers that will help you on your search.

Reserve a spot for a one-on-one 45-minute personalized research experience with trained professionals (Swedish and Norwegian). A link to sign up will be sent to you once you register for this event. Please note that you can only sign up for one session.

In addition you can:
Eat a traditional Swedish lunch at Mormors Café or sign up for the lunch served in the Café and eaten in the gallery during the noon presentation (note that you can still attend the presentation if you have not bought lunch. You can also bring other food from Mormors Café to the gallery during this presentation.
